The Research and Engineering to Accelerate Discovery (READY) Center is a biomedical research center that brings together expertise across academia and industry to accelerate understanding of disease biology and the development of therapeutics.

With the tools at the READY Center, QBI will advance the comprehension of disease states and understand factors driving pathogenesis, as well as the discovery of potential therapeutic drug targets. The center merges innovative academic research with industrial-scale genome engineering, including CRISPR, to yield an intricate understanding of the interface between human proteins and disease mechanisms in infectious disease, cancer, and neuropathologies.

The READY Center will help advance the comprehension of disease states and understand factors driving pathogenesis, as well as the discovery of potential therapeutic drug targets.

The team behind the READY Center collaborates to decode the complex relationships between human proteins and disease. Their work is focused on driving innovation in understanding disease mechanisms and identifying new therapeutic targets, with the ultimate goal of advancing treatments for infectious diseases, cancer, and neurological disorders.
