Yvonne Lim is a Staff Research Associate 2 at the READY Center.
Yvonne earned her B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from San Jose State University. Before joining the READY Center, she was a Research Associate I and II at VitroLabs Inc., a start-up leveraging cellular agriculture to produce lab-grown leather. In this role, she specialized in cell biology, medium formulation development, and assay development, while also gaining extensive experience in scaling up mammalian cell culture, tissue engineering, and histology. At the READY Center, Yvonne is expanding her focus to biomedical research, with a particular interest in gene editing and CRISPR technologies. She is eager to contribute to advancements in neuroscience, pathogenesis, and drug discovery.
Outside of the lab, Yvonne loves exploring new restaurants, reading at cafes, drinking good coffee/matcha, and hanging out with her beloved friends and family.
