The QBI Hackathon is comprised of two events:
Pre-Hackathon “Meet & Greet” Mixer
Prior to the hackathon, each campus, UCSF, UCB and UCSC will host a meet and greet mixer. This will give attendees an opportunity to get to know each other, form groups and start thinking about their projects in advance of the actual hackathon. This is really the time to initiate team formation. After the mixer you can use the time to obtain more data, think about what you want to do, maybe reach out to more potential team members. We STRONGLY suggest attending the meet and greet mixer before the hackathon to give yourself ample time to form into teams and begin your product.

October 4, 5:00-7:00 PM – UC Berkeley (Bakar Bioenginuity Hub & Bakar Labs, 2625 Durant Ave, Berkeley, CA 94720)
October 12, 5:00-7:00 PM – UC San Francisco (SF Kebab, 550 16th St, San Francisco, CA 94158)
October 17, 5:00-7:00 PM – UC Santa Cruz (Location TBD)
Main Hackathon Event: November 4-5, 2023
At the main event, participants will come together for two days to collaborate and develop their results. At the end of the hackathon, teams will present their work in front of a panel of judges and the best teams will receive prizes.
