QBI presents a seminar with Drs. Dan Faissol and Kate Arridlt of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Drs. Faissol and Arridlt with present an overview of Lawrence Livermore’s research and development program on the design and optimization of biologics using a Generative Unconstrained Intelligent Drug Engineering (GUIDE) platform.

GUIDE is a computational and experimental platform that integrates machine learning, high performance computing, molecular dynamics, protein structure bioinformatics, and multi-objective optimization with rapid and high throughput protein production and experimental characterization. GUIDE is aimed at supporting rapid response to emerging biological threats. We introduce the current in capabilities GUIDE, summarize previous uses cases in antibody optimization, and discuss ongoing and future activities for improving and expanding GUIDE.
