Jackie Kyosiimire-Lugemwa, Ph.D. is a visiting scholar at the Quantitative Biosciences Institute at UCSF, where she is employing new technologies in science and generating collaborations that will enhance her work on virologic and immunologic studies of HIV-1 infected long-term non-progressors and rapid progressors. Dr. Kyosiimire-Lugemwa is also a Co-Principal Investigator for the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) for studying the effect of pre-existing immune status and endemic infections on Hepatitis B vaccine-mediated responses among HIV negative adult Ugandans.
