Lee Spraggon, PhD, is the Director of the READY Center.
Dr. Lee Spraggon obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Durham, and his PhD in Genetics from the Medical Research Council (MRC) Human Genetics Unit and University of Edinburgh, UK, working in the lab of Professor Nick Hastie, CBE, FMedSci, FRS. Following post-doctoral training at Columbia University and Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, in the fields of genomic engineering and RNA therapeutics, he moved into the biotech space, leading R D and Operation teams that implemented high-throughput automation platforms for cell engineering, drug discovery and diagnostics.
In his current role, he will scale the READY Center's advanced cell engineering and iPSC technology, driving its application in high-impact, collaborative research initiatives in the areas of neuroscience, oncology and infectious disease.
