QBI presents "Science in the Time of Corona", a live show where scientists discuss how COVID-19 has changed science. This week, join us for a discussion with two researchers in the QCRG about the transition to online conferences that has been made necessary by COVID-19, and whether this has impacted the role that conferences play in science.
What is gained and what is lost when scientists present their research from afar? Are in-person conferences an essential component in the scientific research process as we know it? We will talk with two researchers about the past, present, and potential future roles of conferences in how scientists communicate and conduct their research.
