IMAGING

QBI at UCSF holds exemplary human and preclinical imaging research services offered by the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging.

Over the past several years, significant time and effort was spent in building what is a world-class facility for medical imaging research in the Bay Area. Continuing the long tradition of research excellence, state-of-the-art imaging systems have been deployed to provide the ability for multi-modal and cutting edge in vivo assessment of tissue structure, biochemistry, molecular biology and function.

In addition, streamlined processes have been developed, that are aimed at lowering the barrier-to-entry for imaging related investigation of health and disease. The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging can provide comprehensive services, starting with study design and sample/subject management, and ranging to data analysis and post-processing.

The facilities are staffed with trained personnel, and lead by world- renowned faculty experts across all imaging disciplines. Further, they provide a comprehensive imaging workflow for quality assurance and data management across all stages of the imaging experiment.

The department encourages you to reach out directly if you want to further explore the offerings or partner with them.
