QBI has a strong collaborative partnership with the Convergence Zone at the J. David Gladstone Institutes, which is also focused on using technology to study biomedical problems. Also, a joint initiative between QBI, UCSF, Thermo Fisher Scientific and the J. David Gladstone Institute created the Thermo Fisher Scientific Mass Spectrometry Facility for Disease Target Discovery which is located on the second floor of the Gladstone Institutes.
