QBI has partnered with Thermo Fisher Scientific to augment the mass spectrometry capabilities at UCSF and the bay area in general. A joint initiative between QBI, UCSF, Thermo Fisher Scientific and the J. David Gladstone Institute created the Thermo Fisher Scientific Mass Spectrometry Facility for Disease Target Discovery.
