QBI presents a seminar with Forest White, Professor in the Department of Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Dr. White received his Ph.D. from Florida State University, completed a post-doc at the University of Virginia, and then joined MDS Proteomics where he developed phosphoproteomics capabilities in the company. In 2003 he joined the Department of Biological Engineering at MIT. Dr. White is a member of the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT.

Dr. White's work explores how quantitative approaches to protein phosphorylation-mediated signaling networks and MHC peptide presentation can reveal the molecular mechanisms driving cancer progression and treatment response. Dr. White will discuss how these approaches are being applied to identify novel therapeutic targets across glioblastoma, melanoma, triple-negative breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer, as well as to understand the mechanisms underlying therapeutic resistance and metastasis.
